Uniform & Spirit Wear
Uniforms and Spirit Wear are for squad events only. Everyone must be in the same outfit or we do NOT wear it.
Unform Care
Please make sure your read over uniform care guidelines the BEFORE washing anything. A few tips:
-
DO NOT put anything in the dyer
-
If your skirt waitband is tight, strech it out while it is wet (it will streach at least 1/2 inch)
-
Wash all spirit wear before camp, especailly the tye dyed t-shirt (you will turn blue otherwise)
-
LABEL all items before going to camp
-
Alterations on skirts should be done before pictures next week or wait until we end camp
Spirit Prep
No need to change, but please bring your cheer folder with the handbook, game schedule, and current calendar.
Rally Day
Please wear your full uniform to school and rally bow. You will be dismissed from classes early in order to warm-up with captains. Only JV and Varsity are allowed to perform stunts at the start of the rally. Sit with other cheerleaders in front of their grade level. Remember - you are crowd leaders!!!!
Spirit Day (non-game day)
This will either fall on a Thursday or Friday, depending on your squad. Spirit day outfit will include your polo, white sweatshirt (if cold), and jeans. Any other variants will be decided by your squad captain. Whatever is decided, it must follow the school & cheer dress code
Spectating
This occurs for JV and Frosh for COC home games only. The spectating outfit will include your sweatshirt and sweatpants. We will layer with our uniform jacket if it gets cold. You may wear any shoes. Bring your spirit signs.
Game Day
This will either be a Thursday or a Friday, depending on what squad you are on. Please wear your full uniform to school and to the game. Your squad captains will announce hairstyles/bows either at practice or during spirit prep. Arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the game for warm-up and check-in. In order to participate in the game, you must attend a full day of school on game day and the last scheduled practice before a game.
Full Uniform
This means shell, skirt, briefs, hairbow, socks, liner (when it gets cold), clean shoes, and poms. Bags should contain all cheer items not being used. Uniform jackets and uniform pants are the only items allowed to layer over your uniform. When the weather begins to change, these should be always in your bag/box. Read over uniform care guidelines.
Practice Spirit Wear
You should wear your hair back in a ponytail, regular socks, sports bras, and cheer shoes. When it gets cold, your sweatshirts/pants should be the only pieces used for layering.
